Machines

CPAM is dedicated to developing indigenous advanced manufacturing systems for high-precision photonic and semiconductor device fabrication. Our machine development efforts focus on creating scalable, high-resolution platforms for submicron 2.5D and 3D manufacturing, bridging the gap between laboratory research and industrial production.

The centre is actively developing next-generation lithography, projection microfabrication,  laser-based manufacturing, and automated optical fabrication systems tailored for meta-optics, photonic integrated circuits, micro-optics, and semiconductor applications. By integrating precision optics, motion control, advanced materials, and computational design, we aim to establish complete end-to-end manufacturing solutions for emerging photonic technologies.

Through indigenous innovation and industry collaboration, CPAM is building the machine platforms that will drive the future of optical computation, advanced photonics, and semiconductor manufacturing in India.
